Cumbria County Council

Cumbria County Council's Archive Service is soon to move out of its medieval base at historic Carlisle Castle to a new, state of the art development of a Victorian country residence two miles from the City Centre. The £8 million scheme is supported by the largest Heritage Lottery Fund grant ever made to a Cumbrian project.
